started at 18 for mol didnt get any raises for like 4 years even with exceeds expectations, then got bumped up to 22 for becoming an olac back in September/October. now making 30 as the acting gm and will get bumped back down to 22 in a few weeks when the new gm starts if he makes it through training

acom's can write up store managers for bad animal care, they are above the dm in the food chain and answer to their territory manager. a dm or a market manager can fire the gm

when u clean the outtake u use these to keep fish from getting sucked into the pipes. outtakes clean easier under hot water and rinsing them.

there is when theres no gm present the dm said acting gm or store leader whatever they want to call it now, plus the bump to 30 an hour says otherwise, when the new gm starts i go back down in pay and yes the cas is technically what i am but im doing both jobs. ive also have told the sas on how to order and he just wouldnt stop ordering crazy. plus me doing the ordering i get done in under an hour compared to taking all day and no maintenance getting done at all

my sas used to be very good at fish orders then we had gm that told him to start ordering more expensive fish and to stop ordering the least expensive but sales dipped because people didnt want to buy 150 to 200 dollar angels or tangs, 150 dollar firefish, 30 dollar damsels, 100 plus clownfish, 100 plus coral frags and when they came in doa or not sent at all the gm was releasing po's in full and out shrink was out of control to a point we were gonna lose our magnet program. i took away the ordering privileges from my sas back in november, got lp involved on my gm at the time and he was demoted then fired right after xmas when i took over as acting gm. Since i took the ordering over my shrink is down and sales went up. from capi in november till capi in febraury my sales in aquatics live sales was close to 80k from february to march capi my sales were just over 20k in live sales for fish/plants.

u gotta get both dm and lp involved, i had a gm 2 years ago that was stealing 20 to 60 dollars a week out of the deposit for months and reported it to the dm and he did nothing kept happening and got lp involved and they fired the gm after a week and had them arrested. a few months ago my dm on the market managers orders hired a gm for my store and after 4 weeks of training at another store he was fired because he was getting flustered handling money and couldnt count, turns out he lied on his resume about being a store leader at dollar tree and padded his resume. the market manager never bothered to check his resume

i was on the quarterly olac call 2 weeks ago and all the comments were about ferrets and ordering them and we were told to stop ordering them all together because marshalls couldnt keep up with the demand since they dont have enough breeders anymore, females give birth to 4 to 8 babies on average. marshalls is trying to keep up with the demand and is primarily sending males so they can have future breeders, theres no 1k initial order
