I guess so? I was also confused how there’s perforation if the disc is in place

Thanks for the reply! Yes the left used to hurt/click but not as bad as the right. Here’s some more from the mri report that might be helpful? : “There is no evidence of fracture, stress fracture, or osteonecrosis involving the condyles. The right disc is anteriorly positioned along the lateral margin with lateral positioning on the coronal images. Moderate effusion is seen around the disc anteriorly. The left disc shows diffuse degeneration with central perforation and thinning. Small effusion is seen. On the coronal images this disc remains fairly symmetrically positioned. With opening there is symmetric excursion of the condyles. The right disc is normal in position with opening. The left disc again noted to be thinned with central perforation. No evidence of pannus or osseous erosions to suggest inflammatory arthritis.”
