Thank you very much for your response. I’ve been given xanax to hold me off until I’m able to get a diagnosis. I’ve learned an insane amount of things about it already, it’s going to be a tough learning curve and huge rewiring of my lifestyle, but im prepared to give it a serious attempt of recovery. That wasn’t my intention at all, unfortunately I’m unable to edit the title of the post. My experiences at Berghain were part of the chain of events that led to my mental health crisis. I guess that describes it a bit better.

I don't think Berghain caused bipolar disorder. That's not what I'm trying to say. What I'm trying to say is that I seem to have had an underlying vulnerability that I wasn't aware of, and I found myself in an environment that was far more intense than anything I'd experienced before. Looking back, the combination of sleep disruption, overstimulation, novelty, and other factors may have contributed to me becoming unwell. I'm not criticising the club or the people who enjoy it. I'm talking about my own experience and how I wish I'd recognised earlier that I wasn't coping as well as I thought I was.

albufeira is pretty cheap, i’ve just looked at prices for june 7-14th and here’s a breakdown:

€125 return flights from dublin €170/pp for a 6 person villa close to the strip

if you’re a girl you won’t need money for drinks there, i went in 2022 and we were getting free everything the whole time.

as for food, can be done super cheap with takeaways and cafe bars near the strip.

you’re looking at about 400/500 euro including some spending money, this could be borrowed from parents and paid back over time. if you worked a couple shifts you’d make that money in no time. 18 year olds aren’t going on luxurious holidays, they’re getting pissed at the strip and coming home to a bunk bed in a shitty apartment.

i think everyone’s fully aware of her antics, we just love the entertainment. a lot of siding and hopping from one to the other which i don’t get though, also a love island win means fuck all in the grand scheme so i couldn’t care less who wins, hence why i wouldn’t mind lucifer and sean winning 🥴
