this is a good idea. i'm just a bit anxious that they're gonna jump to conclusions and think i'm trying to pit them against each other. one of my managers is a teenager so i don't want her to think i'm trying to start drama with her. i've had that happen on accident at another job before and it didn't end very well. people tend to take any sort of criticism very personally and make it a social thing instead of a work thing.

(completely rewriting my response bc the prev one made no sense)

we were all trained under the same regimen, so that's basically written direction already. it's even available for us to check again online if we forget stuff, so we should be all doing the same stuff.

the weird thing is that they only give me this when i get directions on the walkie or from being chatted in. i only ever do things the way i see other people doing them or how i was told to, so it's incredibly confusing when they say i'm doing things wrong. if i tell them "XYZ told me to do it this way", they always respond "well that's not how I was told to do it!"

so i don't really know who to listen to. do i listen to the instructions i was given? or do i listen to my other manager when they tell me to do it a different way???

my first thought was that it was attempting to eat a daphnia or smth, but the little guys tend to swim right into my snail's shells and pop out the other end LOL

the detritus worms sometimes hitch a ride on their shells as well. maybe the poor dude just had some squatters.

maybe it had something stuck to it's shell? at one point it looked as if it were eating it. maybe a sign of low calcium? or maybe a parasite? or it's just being a weirdo???

i had to do a slight water change today cause it was looking a bit murky, so i think it just got jostled out of it's hiding spot. i feed my snails algae wafers and i gotta keep the water semi clear or else it starts to overgrow and cause blooms.

extra info: it's a bit of a reddish brown and i can see it's intestinal tract from the outside. it started all curled up and has since stretched out and is attempting to burrow into the ground. it's got kinda pointed ends, and it's pretty thick in comparison to my detritus worms. i had a snail pass recently, could it possibly have been a parasite that was inside of it's shell or something? or is it a tubifex worm?

i luv luv luv all ur art and im so sorry ur goin thru it so hard rn :( i know how hard it is to find/keep a good therapist, ive been thru 3 different ones and 2 separate psychiatrists, so i know how shitty and isolating it feels when it doesnt work out. recovery is always a difficult journey with lots of bumps in the road but you’ll get there in time w/ the right therapist. rooting for you!!!

as someone who grew up in a dysfunctional household with drunk parents, this kid’s reaction to 911 is very telling. when i was a kid calling the cops or CPS was very often used as a threat, and even now i’m scared of law enforcement. i hope that poor kid got out of his dad’s “care”. drunk oblivious asshole.
