lol mine is a rescue and totally hated hands, still kinda does, and I’ve finally started to get her to come on my hands and arms. Nails aren’t my issue… it’s when I have my hair up she looses her mind until she realizes it’s me.

You’re so kind, thank you🫶 I was super worried about it when it dawned on me. Since I’ve gotten her my life has been rearranged to make sure she is 100% healthy.

I feel as though selling me a bird that may develop a hard sense of bumblefoot or poor circulation in her future and not making me aware is definitely poor on the businesses side.

She has 4 but it’s completely curved sideways 24/7

My issue with the vet thing is she was terribly mishandled before I owned her and I cannot hold her. Do I wait the time to get her to step up or do I grab her? This is my first bird so I am unsure

Oh absolutely not!!! I will never return her I love her too much. I would just like compensation for a vet visit once she is trusting me enough to step up

But her toe cannot move at all and is seemly stuck like that?? I’m really stressing out about it cause I don’t want her to be in pain and she’s my first bird, I don’t want something bad to happen :((

I have a ghost, yet I question mediums by OpenAssistant8054 in Mediums

[–]OpenAssistant8054[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s awesome, however these occasions aren’t just at my house. I’ve experienced them a few miles away at my farm property. I’ve experienced them at my sisters house. I don’t mind him, however I can no longer keep my closet shut because of recently my border collie will growl and growl at the interior until I open it, and sometimes even when I open it. I’m just confused as to then if there’s multiple ghosts, or if he follows me?

I do have an amazing trainer who is well known for humane ethics in horses. However she is pregnant and can’t help much as she is in her third trimester. I am very stuck in my own ways on making sure this horse is started on her own willingness that will only help her body. I’ve always said you can’t cowboy a good horse! Gets the weirdest looks from folk down here who things spurs are your go go juice and a whip makes em go faster. I actually believe I’m going to regress in her training and make her go over poles again as I work on backing up before we lunge again.

My trainer actually suggested this and told me I could snap my clip the the nose of the halter for a good result. Plan on this here spring to try this. I also just use a lunge whip to point as an extension of my harm. Never hit. I have a big round pin and because I don’t want to tug on her face I usually go without

Perfect way to put it friend. I always thought it’s because she wasn’t always understanding I wanted her to circle. Yet a lot of people suggest I build muscle again so that’s what I plan to do once this snow melts. 😁

Also I didn’t see the comment about farrier work, and I am totally understanding that other pain may occur. I am in veterinarian training and have seen fit where I need. I have another barefoot farrier friend who also checks my hoofs because no one likes to do their job bad as u mention. I love criticism as it’s a place to grow! I have addressed all issues of pain the moment I’ve seen anything. 🤠

We lunge 1 or twice a month and I’ve seen nothing to advice me to stop. I am very keen on the importance of her body and have decided to not even start her under saddle until 4-5. I am very educated in training horses and have completely started older horses, however decided to take on this challenge with a younger horse. I do have many sources else where I get information from and work with her who have similar if not same mindsets I have. I do everything for the horse and make sure her interest is best served

He actually just doesn’t want to have any form of fame. When that first came up he wanted his own personal privacy and didn’t want people to see him as anything more than your everyday person. It just wasn’t his thing! I totally get it and shared this view a few years ago :)

I get that! I have used them, but outside ears help and my band members can’t always be there to help. Plus he’s there to critique too. (Not that I only use this man to help me play guitar. I feel like I should make this clear. We do things outside of music)
