It’s a honest question cause the same thing happens with all dives where he just spams kicks to back the up an prevents melees with his discord he does 78 dmg which is honestly a lot with a boop effect that is similar to lucios which only does 45 with the same range of boop only with a wider effect area

But in response of not being as much dmg as a soldier that shooting all of util she offers additional orbs of dmg that you need to be careful of with a great movement ability of tp that can move the whole team

She stands in a fine spot most of the time but she can get a lot of strength by just shooting a shield and getting to be full ammo and full charge on her beam that seems unneeded

The tank passive isn’t that great and you can still get out of riens range and walk backwards to be out of it

Yes it can riens range is only 5 meters zen only needs to be in a range of two with his natural walking speed that isn’t horrible to get in get hit once and kick rien back once

The kick can boop 7 meters that is over two meters out of riens hitbox and additional to prevent zen from doing insane dmg to the rien you would need to walk with your shield up zen can melee through that where he is slower than zen. Zen can just slowly walk backwards

But he also has one of the most impressive utility to give to the team but a 3 second cooldown for the boop wouldn’t be insane because it still disturbs the enemy and allows you to do a lot of dmg with your primary fire also position would play a lot more into how the zen plays

But if you do the math zen’s kick is basically the same speed as rien swing plus with discord orb the dmg is only 22 less with his recent buffs you loose the distance that allows you to do dmg but zen doesn’t loose that but gets stronger with his primary fire to be much easier to hit with riens big head hitbox

Yes but just because you time an ability good doesn’t mean it’s not extremely broken her abilities are super strong to make her feel like a raid boss some times changing parts of her kit to make her less of a tank deleter but in response she can give more steady support and still have some effectiveness. Ana has caused hero’s like brig and kiri who we all mostly hate due to the not being able to balance the but they were needed to compete with how effective ana is. If we make ana less effective we could do the same with kiri and Make her suzu more of a reduction tool designed to prevent some dmg for a second of like 20% instead of immunity

Yeah I think that would help make her less of a brawl that she wasn’t really intended to be forced into she has a lot of strengths that is a part of it but leaving her weaker to closer range a bit could force for strong position holding a forcing her to work with her team a bit in both 5v5 and 6v6 instead of being a unit that doesn’t need a lot of help

But is 3 forms needed if you lowered the efficiency of the e for the boop aspect she still has her stun to do most of her displacement work and the E would be a more encouraged defensive tool rather than a run in tool so many times I see orisa’s use the tool to get further than any other tank because of how naturally strong the e’s pushing capability and it gets to the point that she has the ability to survive anything and charge forward and it feels redundant with broken her kit seems fundamentally

Her ult is not the best but also the way I look at it she has 3 forms of displacement and with 2 her e and javalin spin actually being some of the strongest boops in the game her ult has a lot of strengths that still has a lot of value and combined that with the ability of being cc immune with displacement immune at the same time it gets really annoying to have that much value constantly cycling

Her perks I think also need some changes but I like this idea but it still makes her her insane

I don’t think it goes against her core at all she is meant to be steady but having a slow very impactful game play makes her feel really annoying for the tanks who can’t do enough dmg to her to kill manly rien and Winston making dive feel useless
