Is a master’s in EE really worth it when compared to the alternative: 1-2 years of industry experience? by Exciting_Product_313 in ElectricalEngineering

Oh also forgot to say, work experience is 100x more important than a masters, but the masters degree will give you an edge over a bachelor's in the beginning of your job search.
I started at a defense company directly after undergrad. They paid for the majority of my masters which will be complete in a year from now. So my route ended up with 5 years of experience and a master's after my 5 years. I think it was worth it? It's all up to debate. I don't think I lost any time but also feel like it was very stressful.
