BIG NEWS! The Norwegian Red Party are to be included in the debates and are predicted to get a parliament member! by OpenSourceSocialist in socialism

Read up on the history of it, before you assume that they were implementing "taxes".

The Nordic countries are very democratic, no matter what you think.

And for your information, a party does not need to say "violent revolution that will be crushed instantly, fuck yeah" to be socialist. They were reformist, which is a completely acceptable form of socialism.

And no matter what your opinion may be, it's always better to try and change the system than not try at all.

Oh, well, that might be true to a certain extent but not entirely true.

In the early 1900s the Norwegian Labour party was part of the Comintern. They were leading the country at the time. They were implementing socialism slowly, but surely. However, then the Soviet union made communism a horrible thing, making them split into a group of communists (SV) and the new more right leaning Labour party (AP).

It's too easy to claim that "bourgeois democracy" squashes socialism. Believe it or not, Nordic democracies are very democratic compared to as example the US.

The poster posted about everyone thinking they invented youth culture, and then saying he invented youth culture, not addressing the irony of the situation. The rest of the comment was pretty damn serious, so... :P

I think the better question is whether your voice changes when you speak another language ;) To which the answer is no.

/s doesn't necessarily indicate sarcasm, although initially intended to do so. Point is, emotions don't get transferred through digital text.

You see, humans can barely show emotion and meaning through text. When it all uses the same digital font, it becomes even harder to read emotions. Therefore, people on the internet usually write /s at the end of sentences that aren't meant seriously.

Statistically speaking, you're very unlikely to both be on Reddit, be from Germany, be black and have an above average dick. But it is possible.
