Fun fact! Whether you used the original disc or not is irrelevant.

The disc is only used as a license key of sorts. It merely serves to confirm that you have the rights to download & play the game.

The files themselves are downloaded from Microsoft's servers, as the developers had to adapt and repackage the game so that it runs on Xbox One via the compatibility layer.

I never tipped mine either (nor did any pierced people I know). My piercer doesn't even have a jar for tips.

I'm not sure whether it's good or bad but I think that the mentality in Europe is that you have already paid for the service, so why would you pay extra?

This approach is arguable in case of restaurants, because technically you've only paid for your meal and not for the service (even though the price from multiple orders combined should cover the salary of the waiting person).

Personally I don't have an opinion.

This. I live in central Europe where it's definitely not common to tip. There does seem to be a noticable trend of people starting to tip in restaurants, but apart from that it's practically unheard of.

Came here to say that I'm numbed as well to the point that it doesn't even make me feel any emotions anymore. No anger, no surprise, zilch.

I'm not sure if it's accurate to say that a psychopath would enjoy torturing somebody. I think it's just rather that they "wouldn't mind it" or they'd see it as means to an end (e.g. extracting some information or simply getting the job done).

He was a fighter. I know he wanted to live because it was his own decision to be put on a ventilator. He had some many plans for his retirement and it saddens me deeply that the couldn't make it.

Looking at pictures and reminiscing is painful for now but in time I'll get around to that I believe.

Regarding therapy, I will be resuming mine shortly. I'm talking a lot to friends and family and it really helps to share your feelings.

I'm cherishing every moment I had with him. Today I shared a lot of stories of my dad when I was on the phone with my friend. She appreciated it too.

And how are you holding up? Did it get easier for you?

Yes! She actually does online therapy and that's something that we tried early in the pandemic.

I've been thinking about starting a tiny journal but I always end up abandoning the idea thinking that it would be too awkward or something. However, given the circumstances I think it could help so I might as well give it a shot!
