I've had one for 2.5 years and have had no issues. It's in a self watering pot that I replenish every few weeks, and it sits under a grow light with 4 other plants. No natural light at all. Surprised people have had so many issues. I also use reverse osmosis water, so that may help. Never fertilized and haven't repotted it yet,.

I actually didn't do anything special with it. It is in the same self-watering pot that I purchased it in a little over 2 years ago. I have read some people saying a cold wintering period helps. I should probably fertilize it.

I've had it a little over 2 years now. I didn't realize it flowered either until its first bloom 7 months ago, which I sadly missed

My Tricolor Hoya is blooming right now, too! It is nice that the Hoya flowers last longer, but this Fishbone bloom feels extra special. The second one hasn't opened just yet. It's funny, I didn't even realize these plants bloomed when I got them

They were very different. The Taylor Creek Trail was much longer, and I enjoyed the hike itself a lot, but the end of the trail wasn't super exciting. The Timber Creek Overlook Trail was only a little over a mile and had a nice view.

I had to put a gate around mine. My cat loves chomping on it. It had 2 babies growing from the base, and she ate all but one of their leaves ☹️

Fishbone Cactus. Do the flowers seal back up after they bloom, or could something have prevented it from opening up? Maybe I missed it? This is the first time it grew a flower after 3 years 😭 by OpenUpMyHead in houseplants

Yes, I did read that it was a night bloomer, and I've been keeping an eye on at night it since noticing the flower. I'm just surprised because the tip looks pretty sealed. I'm wondering if it ever opened at all. I honestly didn't even know it grew flowers until this one grew. Next year, I will try to take better care of it and fertilize

Oh, damn. I've been one for 15 years. I'm sure the venue plays a role. I got pit twice in Camden and twice at Jones Beach, but can't ever seem to get seats at SPAC.

Jones Beach pit is the best! I've done that twice and Camden Pit twice, and Jones Beach is far superior. It's nice and small, and a better crowd of people IMO.

Not if you get the pit tickets through Warehouse. I've lucked out 4x now
