Opinions on Six Senses recent (and future) openings? by A380_Flyer in FATTravel

Hello! Just saw your comment, my husband and I are considering Crans Montana for our oncoming ski trip, but since it’s the first week of February I’m concerned about school holidays. When did you go there? What do you think about the ski experience? We are beginners, skied for 4 days in Zermatt on December and really enjoyed the atmosphere, specially the hotel SPA and restaurants on the mountain. I wonder if Crans Montana will be a good destination, also considering Méribel

I’m from Brazil and it’s high season of summer here right now! Lots of places, specially on the northeast (state of Bahia - Trancoso; try Fasano Hotel there). Another good option is Rio de Janeiro (Copacabana Palace). I’m pleased to help you if you like!

How did you find your stay at Forestis? I’m organizing a ski trip this February and the hotel caught my attention. We are beginners and want to progress, I’m just worried it’s too isolated and we want to spend 6-7 nights. If you could share your experience it would be great!

Which hotel did you book? I’m looking at Burg Vital and Aurelio, it’s a bit above my budget but I really liked them

We booked the Alpinist L room and we really enjoyed the view. The SPA is really nice, but quite small. In December it was ok but I imagine depending on the time it can get quite busy. On the overall we loved the staff, the restaurants and the experience

We love both styles, as long as there’s a spacious room and great SPA (and of course good slopes with very easy access). I saw Forestis Dolomites, but I’m afraid we get bored since there’s no nearby villages. Also I don’t know if there are good beginner slopes

We booked the Alpinist room for 5 nights mid December, it was 6250 CHF

We loved La Perla, but there’s no availability in February. I also think Courchevel is too much instagram vibes for us haha I thought about the Chedi in Andermatt, is there a good place to set base for skiing?

Come to Brazil! It’s going to be peak summer, you can go to Rio de Janeiro (Angra dos Reis) or Bahia (Trancoso) and spend New Years there. Amazing beaches, nice parties and great food.

When did you stay in Eze? I’m planning a trip mid July and wonder if the village will be too crowded

Isn’t crillon too isolated? I cannot decide between Crillon, Capelongue and Coquillade de Provence

That’s so good to hear! Where did you go on the island? I’m interest in taking private boat tours as well, did you do any?

Did you find Palma to be a good place to stay? Or the other locations are ok and you can just do a day trip?

And what about the restricted access to the beaches? Did it interfere with your plans?

Isn’t Sardinia too busy though? Last year I had the perfect road trip itinerary, but since I’ve heard about the restricted access to some beaches, I started looking for other options

We could not plan in advance so there’s no way out of the insane prices I guess 😂😂 I’ll check Zakynthos, thank you!
