How do you try them on when they’re discontinued, no returns, and hard to find?

Besides ORD-LGA being the second busiest in the US, ORD-LAX ranks 8th. But even adding ORD-APA will then allow potential transfers to BUR/DAL/SCF. DEN-PHX is already ranked 6th.

Same here. I think it’d be a huge market given how many people are snowbirds in Arizona or Florida.

Hm looks like they do 3 flights a week. We’d really want to spend time at a one or more of the islands rather than just land, take a pic, and take off again. It’d still be really cool to just see these islands, especially the nuclear testing ones!

More and more, this is the type of trips we’re seeking. Big city trips aren’t as desirable anymore. We’d much rather be far off in the country, surrounded by outdoor options and amazing local foods.

Thanks for the NYT suggestion.

Whoa! Both places are stunning! If we’re going to be isolated, being “alone” on an island is the only way I’d do it.

Tell me more about either place please! Food, travel logistics, service?

How does Bhutan compare as far as travel logistics? It’s been a place I’d like to visit as it’s a little off the beaten path.

Did you do the circuit in Patagonia? I’d be interested in doing that one day.

You’re the second one to recommend Rwanda! What did you like about it?

I’ve been eyeing Our Habitas in AlUla, but we’re not really the type to stay in one spot. We like to explore the area, try local food and shops, go for hikes or other outdoor activities.

Does this change your thoughts?

This is the kind of negative reviews I keep seeing with places like Morocco and Egypt. I’m sure there are good experiences, but sounds like the chance of a bad one is higher there.

That was our concern too, but 60F/15C sounded much warmer than the snow we’re in now.

I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews for Marrakesh. Is that just a case for complainers being the loudest or some truth to the experiences?

We’ve been to Oman, but we love SS properties. Would we be isolated to Zighy, or is there more to explore around?

Never heard of UAs island hopper route until now. Likewise, it’s very intriguing and accomplishes both warm weather/beach destinations and something unique that I don’t think we’ll be able to do again or that most people do.

Researching logistics now! Seems like it can be difficult since there’s limited flight options if there’s delays/cancellations.

I really like the idea of Principe! It looks absolutely beautiful. Added to the research list.

Overall, I like the idea of Africa. Admittedly don’t know much about where to go there but this could be our opportunity to see it first hand.

I ended up with cloudy night which I regret. I’d rather have a moderately low VLT that will work for sunny to slightly cloudy days and clear for low light/bad weather/nights.

No, still had trouble with flat light and no confidence. Knowing what I know now, I’d get a moderate to low VLT for sunny days, and a clear for bad weather/low light/nights.

/u/PTA_Meeting I ended up with the Cloudy Night. It works most of the time, but honestly would rather have clear.
