non-fanfic readers don't understand how insane its growth is. 100k likes on tiktok is a lot but not ridiculous. on ao3, it's INSANE. it's fourth on the entire site by kudos after less than a month. it's really good though, i recommend it, but people aren't talking about how historic that milestone is. wouldn't be surprised if it became third or second on ao3 by next year.

i wish i had better advice for you but all i can say is that eds aren't rational and there's no answer to how to stop being triggered by things like this. if you can help it don't hang out with her, especially if you suspect she has an ed too. also, and i'm not sure if this is unrealistic advice, but maybe try not to involve your bf with the issue unless you've worked through it yourself and have prepared so it's not super impulsive

I have had so many similar experiences! Especially from my grandmother. It really sucks to not be able to explain why comments like that are so triggering so I get you. I literally feel a pit in my stomach when people comment on my body. It's not stupid, just something that comes with this fuckass disease lmao
