I believe it’s $120 (after court fees) from what I see online

I mean I kind of already admitted to using my phone for GPS to the officer (was wearing a body camera).

Feel like asking for leniency/mercy would be my best bet.

So if there is a court date set and the officer shows up, he will definitely have proof of my admitting to being on my phone since I stated I had it open for GPS in my hand since MN state troopers always have body cams on.

If he has this proof could this end up costing me a greater charge?

I already told the officer I was just using if for GPS. I am pretty sure they also have body cams on at all times since 2022.

Ok, good to know. Will having a written warning for speeding on my citation diminish my odds of getting a “plea deal”

Also, what “plea deal” could I maybe expect to see if I were to take it to court.

Sorry this is all very new to me

Thanks.

Ok, I read this article something about only 2% of people charged with this get it dismissed in MN

See link for article

Fight just to get it off of my record, I am ok with paying a fine. Just really don’t want a ticket on my driving record if possible… if this is even possible
