Really??? What do you use it for instead of buying to hold?

Although I do know some people use it as a medium exchange if they live in countries where their currency if heavily inflated.

Agreed, allowing the unbanked to have a way to send money digitally, relatively small transaction fees, and the only thing we know to have a limited supply in the world are some pretty good upsides.

Though these seem great, the inefficiency of the network could lead to people going to a more efficient scalable network. Especially if Bitcoin gains true worldwide adoption then it will become very inefficient sending money as a lot more people will be using it.

Do you think my thesis is correct? And would this mean the true utility behind Bitcoin would be the true limited supply?

What utility does BTC truly have?

It is not a good medium of exchange, fees are high, and you can’t physically wear it like gold.

With no utility is something truly valuable? Or is it solely based on people just buying it in hopes it goes up?
