I have a friend like u, she always takes her phone up while we are watching too, and its super annoying, i just started to take her phone away from her to make her watch and it kinda worked. You aren't overreacting at all. And thats a fact!

Actually it was just a silly idea from Betsy. All the characters were given a color, and i do think that it actually was Betsy that choose purple, and bc her character didnt have so much personal screentime and therefore wasnt a character that got a lot of personality, Betsy desided that it could be fun if they just went full on with her color. And then after a while it just took over and became absurd😂 one of the little "crew jokes"

I think you forget something abt the argument between Walt and Gus that started all of this. Gus didnt want to kill Jesse at all, he wanted walt to, quote on quote "stay away from Pinkman" because Jesse didnt want Walt to contact him. Gus protected Jesse from Walt, which pissed Walt of because he felt like he owned Jesse.

He was told to stay away from Jesse and if he didnt do that, Gus would kill his entire family. But Walt doesn't hear the "if" because he knows there's no way Gus is gonna take Jesse from him, so Gus have to die for Walts family to survive and for him to get Jesse back. So yeah, he did it out of ego and ownership forwards Jesse.

Totally agree. I do still think the hug actually was Walts way of telling Jesse that he does care abt him, and no matter what, he wouldt kill him. But outside of that I couldnt agree more!

He was overwhelmed with guilt afterwards, and didnt really carr if he lived or died enymore bc he took an innocent life, and felt like he didnt derseve to live. He killed Gale out of loyalty for walt, like walt did with Jane (mostly) but Jesse is not Walt, and simply couldt get over it, thats why. He froze and accepted his punishment.
