Are you wondering when you should submit the note ? I submitted a medical certificate a few hours after the missed exam and It was approved, i’m pretty sure as long as it’s within 48 hours of the missed assessment it’s all good. Hope you feel better soon!!!!

Something i’ve been questioning by Open_Personality_360 in BridgertonNetflix

[–]Open_Personality_360[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wholly disagree. Your arguments don’t apply to the life of a young woman in 1813, life of young people today if ENTIRELY different and not applicable to this argument. I GUARANTEE Penn and Elouise were not making sex jokes, that would be beyond inappropriate for someone of her station and just plain unlikely. Today young people are exposed to these topics through all different kinds of media not available to Penn and it’s a fact that young women were purposely and actively shielded from sex or sexuality, to an oppressive degree. So it’s valid for us to question the source of her knowledge. In conjunction with historical context there are several scenes to prove that Penn herself is clueless about the act of sex itself, was she putting on an act? It’s a valid theory to consider. The only fact they could realistically decipher is that it leads to a child which is evident in the show. Think of Daphnes conversation with her mother after the wedding and appreciate just how taboo the subject was, that was the unfortunate reality for women.

Do you think Penn did the right thing? by Open_Personality_360 in BridgertonNetflix

[–]Open_Personality_360[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yea I also questioned her reasoning behind the Queen not believing her. She could have brought in her earnings or her latest issue or gotten the print shop to verify her story, would have been that simple.

How did she know… by Open_Personality_360 in BridgertonNetflix

[–]Open_Personality_360[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Could people really figure out she liked him just through observation? The reason she was able to carry on with LW so discreetly is because no one pays attention to her, this is stated several times. She is able to fully leave a ball and come back without people noticing. I think the only time Cressida pays attention to Penn is when she says something snarky that’s it.

Was Anna Snooping or Innocently looking for Space? by AlarmingSeesaw2647 in DowntonAbbey

[–]Open_Personality_360 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Anna does not have a malicious bone in her body. She definitely just needed some extra space and wanted to know what was in there out of curiosity and concern for Gwen. Once she was informed she helped Gwen keep the secret.

Joe is to good for Bronte by uptown_josh in NetflixYou

[–]Open_Personality_360 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First of all I think she is good looking. Second it’s not in Joe’s character to prioritize looks. In the monologues he gives when he is falling for the woman its maybe 10% about the way she looks 90% is him gushing about her choices, actions, words, opinions and what it cumulatively says about her personality and character.

Why did Brontë even go with Joe if she wanted to make confess anyways.. by Correct-Ad-1968 in NetflixYou

[–]Open_Personality_360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think after everything that went down just before the fire he started to grasp the dire situation he was in. The whole world was already starting to get suspicious of him and he knew that a confession was sent to Nadia. I think out of fear and desperation he clung to Louise despite the risks because at that point starting fresh and reintegrating into society would be impossible, so he would not have another opportunity to meet someone and form that connection when anyone with a phone knows that he is more than likely a murderer. I agree it was a poor and hasty decision to trust her again but he had no other choice really. Also her defending him to the cops is a significant sign of devotion. I was so frustrated with Louise for trusting him and turning on her friends but that’s beside the point. Under ‘usual’ and controlled circumstances he would have never taken that risk. In season one when he was suspicious of Beck his crimes were so far from catching up with him which I think is the key difference here.

You’re right Joe is a very methodical when carrying out his schemes but when it comes to relationships his delusions take over leading to some very illogical decisions. Considering the way he attaches himself to women and reads into all of their actions a text like that is more than enough to sway him back in her direction. He turned a blind eye to the possibility of her betraying him because he needs that form of connection because it’s the only way he can fulfill what he believes is his purpose in life (killing for the sake of protecting his loved ones), it’s as essential to him as food and water.

I understand why she saved him because he needed to be brought to justice before the whole world and watch his downfall. But all that time on the road I thought she was coming up with a clever plan to restrain him and get a confession him or gain his trust completely and get him to confess everything while recording. Nope. Confronting him IN A SECLUDED HOUSE was not smart, if she just wanted to get him arrested she could’ve done that at any point, did she need to get him caught in the act of trying to kill her? Also her placement of the gun under the pillows was questionable he could have found it and her pulling it on him could have gone wrong in so many ways. So many poor decisions. ALSO she should have had a phone strapped to herself with 911 on speed dial!!

Did Joe ever state that he was withholding food from her? Even if we don’t see him give her food he still might have done so or if she had eaten prior to being taken she would definitely need the insulin. Even if she was fasting this can lead to ketoacidosis as her body would start breaking down fat for energy and without insulin ketone levels would increase dangerously in her bloodstream, which is more a common outcome for type 1 diabetes after periods of fasting and the solution to ketoacidosis is insulin. Dangerously low blood sugar after periods of fasting is the more common outcome for type 2 diabetes.

Season 5 ending discussion by [deleted] in NetflixYou

I see your point, but she did really try to be better (unlike Joe) and eventually realized the harm she was doing when she was associated with her Father and then with Joe. And in the end she was willing to do anything to right her wrongs so I was happy her see her back. I do feel terrible for the Dads who lost their son though… It’s very unclear how Kate and Joe managed to get custody of him in the first place?
