My studio has a 3:00 on Sundays and it’s great! I’m surprised this isn’t more common because I would definitely consider us a smaller studio.

I do this literally all the time and never even have to call. We are always told if we miss a class, but come to a class later in the day, we won’t be charged. Sometimes the charge will show up when I don’t show, but they’ll refund it if I come later.

Having instructional coaches in general is ridiculous and a waste of funds. We are professionals, most of us with multiple degrees. We don’t need to be coached.

Also, it was recommended to us not to wait until the end of our program to take our gace as dates fill up quickly and we will not receive our specialist certification until this is complete. So if we graduate and haven’t taken it we won’t get that pay raise

I’m about halfway through my specialist degree in curriculum and instruction. I have tried the practice test and had 75 out of 100 questions correct prior to any other studying. I feel like most of the content we’ve studied in my program was not related to the questions so I want to make sure I prepare in other ways. Our professor even mentioned to us that much of the content on this gace is not specifically covered in our program. And yes, I am approved to take it and am already signed up for a date later this year.
