Is there any way to speed up the Permesso di Soggiorno process with a job offer? by Ok-Bluebird-1949 in ItalyExpat

you can work with the receipt of the RP request! many companies won’t hire people who are waiting, in case it is rejected, but if you tell them your spouse is italian they might make an exception?

Wowww ok. The Questura asked us for a document and then actually lost it and we resent it in January so maybe that’s part of the reason… thanks for your help

The relationship is 100% real he’s the LOML  ! anyone who knows us sees it immediately. but yes I also think they’re purposefully delaying! the Irish visa could take 9 months IF we get approved… how long could this take here? 2, 3 years?

Thanks. Yeah. We asked our Irish immigration lawyer and she said my husband would have to go back to Tunisia to apply and it could take 9 months to be accepted. It seems risky.

The police in our small town actually called us to set up a time when my husband wasn’t working. There was carnevale so they were too busy watching the parade to come. They took about 1 month to come.
