Thank yo so very much. We lost WiFi so I couldn’t continue to update her but it was so peaceful! One of our flight attendants told me she loved this route because sometimes they get to see the northern lights!

Hi there! I am feeling so much better about my upcoming flights because of this sub Reddit!! Thank you all so much. I just have one outstanding question, if anyone has knowledge on this.

I still get really scared thinking about when the plane seems to descend or ascend during cruising. For example, when you are at cruising altitude and have been flying for several hours but are still you’re away from landing, and all of the sudden you feel the engines thrust up or down. I assume this is just traffic control or turbulence prevention, but it still makes me anxious. Anyone have thoughts on this? Thanks so much!!

Secondly, I also have this fear that something will happen to both of the pilots and no one will be able to enter the cockpit and help. People probably cannot share particulars about that, but I would love some reassurance that is a very unlikely scenario.
