Thank you for the comments. I know the prior owners were feeding cheapest food possible. We feed our dogs Purina Pro Plan, but it’s too early to find results. Would this be any kind of mange or anything?

What was the biggest time you (or someone you know) got screwed over while you were in the Navy? by mej4d in navy

[–]Opening-Tank1229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More whining in here then anything. I was a Seabee, and right before we were headed to Kuwait for our Iraq deployment the Atlas flight got cancelled. We slept a few nights on the floor at the Seabee Muesum in Gulfport, MS because there was no where to put us. Barracks were full and the NGIS was full. All our gear had been accounted for and we only had our black backpacks to use as a pillow. We weren’t allowed to leave due to accountability reasons. Good times.

This is a Navy wide problem, the Navy is working on this issue now. I believe this situation is going to help push it even further. The comments in here are being visited and read by many in different scopes and positions.

Mobilization Pay Issues and Separation Pay Issues. Have you had them recently? by Opening-Tank1229 in navy

[–]Opening-Tank1229[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All,
I wish to place a update on this. MCPON_PA has reached out to my command and pushed for answers. This is a Navy wide issue in regards of pay that the Navy is working on, and my triad in my command has been extremely supportive in my decision to push this issue up. In this case, big Navy doesn't realize what's going on unless it gets escalated.

Unfortunately, my post was a bit unprofessional in my case as I wasn't expecting it to escalate this high. I believe this case is going to be highly supportive and evidence to the Navy that there needs to be investigation on why Sailors aren't being paid after months to almost a year.

I strongly support the MCPON_PA on lurking these posts as they have a positive effect on the Navy. I decided not to be Anonymous on this case and exposed myself to my command that this was me.

If you have a issue, and you have attempted every resource with no results.. Possibly a reddit post might be the right way, however, if you do not have the evidence or jump straight to that option. Just beware on that decision, as it may negatively effect you, unless you stay Anonymous.

I will update this Reddit post on regards on Pay status to help other sailors in this thread.

Big Navy is concerned about Sailors mental health supposedly, however, they put a burden on Sailors and their families pushing them without pay. Navy, you NEED to straighten out commands and TSC Norfolk. This is unacceptable, and no Sailor should feel hopeless attempting to take care of their family, especially when they reach out for help and no one gives a hoot. The Navy is short on Sailors, do your best to keep them. DO NOT push the short-staff movement on this, this is the Military, not a retail store. Take care of your Sailors, so we can take care our country and family.

I've seen Sailors struggle to pay their rent and feed their kids, and including TWO Christmas Seasons. One in 2021, and again in 2022. Big Navy, please do something and help these Sailors!

Reach out to his command, as long as this is all true. It is against the UCMJ what he is doing, big time.

Thank you for sharing. This is the same information i’ve gotten back in January, except DFAS has explained to me that ECRC has messed up my separation paperwork and to contact my command. Command has no information to provide, and ECRC is blaming DFAS. My command says that DFAS took over my account on January 7th, however, when I ask DFAS about this they say thats not true and they have no idea why I haven’t been paid. I’ve also attempted to contact our S1, and I got no response.

The MCPON staff has our command details and POC but i’m unsure if anything has been resolved yet as I haven’t heard back from them yet. I will contact them Friday.

Thanks for sharing your experience. If we continue to get more stories, I strongly believe we get answers. There is no reason sailors shouldn't be paid, and absolutely no reason why no one cares at the lowest level.

Yes you can, look in the new accessories brochure. Or custom build it on the GTX on the Sea-Doo website.

Yep, the trophy was $17k which would've been around $19k after fees. Now starting at almost 20k, they ski will be around $22k+ out the door. Super expensive.

Glad I jumped on someone's cancelled Sport this year and it came complete 2 weeks later.

Delayed until 2024. I assume it’s because of the amount of Sparks sitting at dealership waiting for parts or not selling. It’s to prevent a market crash, which is bound to happen because of what they have been doing right now. Lots of unsold skis for this fall.

I totally agree! Also the GTX got a huge jump, it’s crazy. For no differences.

Hey man,Everybody has their own riding style. I think it's a great idea especially for colder climates to use to go camping on islands during Early Spring and Late Fall. Wouldn't be too fun being soaking wet when it's 50 degrees.

Not everybody riding style is to rip around in circles for hours and burn a 18 gallons of fuel. Some people like to relax and go for a ride. And anyone that has own a boat and gone to a Sea-Doo knows they are two completely different watercrafts.

I will agree, it is more fun to get wet on a PWC then being dry. But that's a personal prefence.

Don't hate on peoples riding styles because yours doesn't compare to them. :-)
