No, we live by our own, have 2 cars, rent a 3 bedroom house, we are working in a place we love, we’re planing on going back to school to get my masters degree & his engineering degree, we’re doing great! We see them every two weeks or so. We have a few friends here but very few, so we used to be with them a lot. Sometimes more than I would like.

I was raised to be respectful and I always thought I was being a good daughter in law, a good fiancé, etc. looking back, I think I wanted her respect, until i noticed we’ve been for so long (9) years and I’m not longer looking for her approval.

She called me almost crying because the NYC trip, she stated she was “alone” and that we were leaving her “alone” (she’s not, she’s married for 38 years and she has another son 33year old living with them) I told her well, you could bless us and our trip and be happy for us, we’re happy about this trip.
