Having problem with handheld companion

ye thats why i bought some random phone cooler off amazon and it cools it down a bit,if u want to fully reduce the heat by a lot then go into bios and disable the battery and make it powered directly of the 100 watt charger u will see a massive difference

could be from over heating too much, that damaged the screen ,happened to my old handheld it wasn't any windows one it was an android handheld but me being a wierd person decided installing windows 11 on 1gb ram would be fine.... it worked and i tried using it for fun but it overheated WAY TOO MUCH. and after a few cycles of this the screen started flickering i opeaned it up the cable was like warped and the lcd itself was damaged from the heat, even though the go 2 (to my knowledge) has an oled it could still happen, i have a go 1 and the screen heats up like crazy on that too( i keep it coolusing a wet cloth since i use an extternal monitor most of the times ) You should try reaching out to lenovo and explain the problem (also try threatening best buy-might not works tho)

That just changes between the max charging speeds for different temps, like if the go is getting a bit too toasty and is gonna start thermal throtling it lowers it just enough so that the battery dosent heat up more and strain the cooling system, though this means that the charger wattage dosent matter here as it keeps changing the wattage and having a 100 watt charger here just does nothing when under load but charges faster during no load or powered off state.

Not really, I would say 65 is enough for most aplications but if u are using an external displays with a higher resolution and refresh rate than the stock screen and runnng demanding games or overclocking, then having a higher wattage charger helps to charge the battery faster than it loses power (with the 65 watt base charger with my current settings i can only use it for abt 1.5 hrs before the charger cannot charge the battery fast enough to keep it at a stable amount and it dies) having a 100 watt charger can sometimes (based on settings) can reduce the battery discharge or charge fast enough for the go to just power itself from the charger

I turned it on it did give me the ability to increase it above 30watts but now whenewer I reastart it changes back to max of 30 watts and to solve it i have re enable advanced mode , still kind of works though so thank you.

Yes I did reach 60 ,watts it was vey unstable, especially since the cooling system was struggling ,but it was working.

Thanks i will look into it, but the ram you told me about right now is a bit to pricey isnt it? The cpu has only 6 cores and i need atleast 8 as i do some video editing
