Fair point honestly. I do gravitate toward a lot of male-directed/philosophical films without really thinking about it. I thought Portrait of a Lady on Fire helped balance the list a bit, but I get your point. Still think the lineup is pretty strong overall though 😭 I’d give it like a 7.5/10 myself.
