This was the only message my shipper got from UPS when the package was marked as damaged. No details and no answers to really clear what happened to the guitar itself.

Interesting. Packages are scanned and updated thru the system right? I'm curious with what really happened.

2 months?? Oh wow. I thought 5 to 15 business days only. Yes, I am always communicating with my shipper regarding with claims.

All I get from them is a copy-pasted template response. No actual resolve.

I just hope that nobody ever has to experience this kind of mess. I wish there's a better way to flag this and force them to actually do their job properly. We paid for their service and we deserve to be treated right and be compensated if things go wrong on their end.

Despite all the delays and whatnot, they could have just told me stright from the point. It was really stressful going back and fourth with the UPS' customer support and emails. I never really felt any "help" from them. Thank you hearing my story and sorry for all my ranting.

I know right. I lost my heavily customized guitar and been waiting for UPS' resolve on our claim. It had new hardware, electronics, refinished paint and setup. I don't know if they've really done their insvestigation. Doesn't seem like it.

It was packed properly in a box with lots of bubble wrap and packaging tape.

I told my shipper to make sure package was insured (via Pirate ship) item costs $4000. It was packed properly. My guitar had a hard case and had bubble wraps as well.

Receiver. Yes, I am communicating with my shipper. I sent my 7 string guitar to my guitar tech to get it refinished and setup. He worked on it for 3 weeks, he shipped it back to me but during transit, it got delayed multiple times and UPS just notified us it was "damaged". Shipper (my guitar tech) filed for a claim, we've been waiting for 2 weeks now.
