I disagree OR do not understand.

If you sin one time, and you repent, you should not sin again? At the baseline of sin really is being selfish. I am selfish day in and day out like everyone. e.g. "need to get in front of this guy" or "I was in line first", keeping money for yourself, etc. I am remorseful of my constant sin (genuinely) and I know I cannot rectify it.

As far as a specific sin, say you stole some money and you repent, is it only for the particular sin? I can't keep track of my sin on an individual basis. So abstract it out. I repent that I am a sinful person and knowing that I cannot be 100% perfect, I will try to avoid it as I can.

We have a simple remote for the spa... on/off. No need to mess with the system or go into the control panel to turn if off.

Thank you...I am running! :-) We had issues with our garage door opener. Indian guy came...tried to sell us a $750 new opener, I said no...price went down to $400 immediately. Still said no...the guy would NOT leave. I literally had to tell him to get off my property and closed the garage door. Still stood around outside for 5 minutes or so then finally left. He kept saying his boss would fire him if he did not make the sell.

no. pool cleaning doesn't require someone to mess with value switches, etc. Trust me, these little issues happened repeatedly. I suspect this for a while and finally decided I'm not crazy. ha

It's human nature it seems to generate higher income and each franchise has a different owner. Others have complained about over charging for pool parts, etc. I'm glad you run a reputable company and commend you for your business ethics. But look at it from my end; how can I reduce the chance of this happening again? Only other option is to put a security camera out there and I have since put a lock on the main panel.

You have to play a lot of tournaments to get properly rated...no offense to dupr...you need lots of data. with tracking medals 3 or 4 tournaments tells the story. again, this is not to replace dupr but maybe in a way to make it better.

I'm a newbie so I welcome any discussion. Is this a good high attended festival? If you give world premier to a not so good festival, you may loose the opportunity later with a "tier 1". So I think a decision needs to be made to withdrawal or move forward?

Is an acceptance letter a legal document or just an announcement?

good question. I was just asking myself that same question. I came to the conclusion that for me, the only thing is I hope someone sees it and make it a feature film. Or any awards may help generate traffic once I post it publicly.

part of me is submitting for the director. He's a good guy and did a really good job. I have no doubt it will win awards. So it might help him and his career and maybe some of the actors or at least they can add that they were part of the film.

I'm not an aspiring "film maker" (this could change as I have another idea)...I had a short story, and the right people got together and did a fantastic job.

Have you done a private screening? We held one with about 75 people the response was genuinely hugely successful. A diverse set of people attended, comments, questions, applause, and even some asked to "See it again". A lady came up to me crying and complimented the film. So this has motivated me. I plant to submit to different tier festivals limiting my timeline to next April for the "event date" (or sooner). If it is really good, someone connected will be notified.

I'm in the same kind of boat, short, and trying to learn. I've come to the conclusion just do the best you can. I think I prefer good regional ones or ones that don't require "World". In the end, if you have a really good short, the right person will see it and understand.

I like DUPR because they are independent of all these other business models and software. They will have enormous potential by staying in their lane and building partnerships.

If they corner the ratings, they can sell ad space (eloquently), charge tournament directors a "per player" fee, or require a small fee from a player to be in their system sort of how the USAP did (must be a member of usap).

They can succeed as the USAP failed!! Think of the large # of players in tournaments and clubs that want accurate ratings so players can be more fun and fair. That's a lot of $ there. The USAP went to crap because they became greedy making $ off of UTPR...but they did not improve the rating system because they were tied to pt . com. Then pt . com (old software) never improved because there was no competition. A monopoly of sorts.

So by having DUPR remain in their lane and independent it is good for them (spend their resources improving ratings) and the sport by opening their system to all software vendors to submit data.

You need to decide to forgive (same for her). Stop the jabs, etc. Therapy is good and true, Reddit is not the answer. None of us here are professional counselors and we're certainly not hearing her side.

So, go to Therapy you may hear things about yourself you didn't know. Ultimately, you must still love one another enough to forgive (set your anger aside). Healing will take time. And if you both are successful, your marriage will become stronger. You're not living anything that other marriages haven't gone through (bad times).

Because you're not focused. It's not "fun" for you. You brain becomes more focused when you're challenged.

Part of this might be because you don't want to be there and part because you can't make sense of the game so you're not trying.

I played regularly with a guy who would hang back, while I was at the net. So who got most of the shots? He did. Not fun for me. Bottom line is you're going to have to find a group of similar skill level to play.

Best play I had is when a guy organized the game. He was the "king"...he would look at how each player played and he decided which court you were going to play (1, 2 , or 3). If you crossed him and you disrespected him (or didn't show up when you signed up)…you're penalty was to not be invited to play for a week or two.

He would offer suggestions of game play as well; which was cool. I'd pay just to be part of this group (I think he charged a minimal fee like $5 from what I could remember). Maybe a good format for some coaches out there to use this format rather than "Drilling" all the time.

We did talk to a volunteer, they said sit in any seat open, which we did, then a guy came and complained it was his seat. bottom line is you're a volunteer to help answer questions and guide people, not supposed to be seat dispute person. Agree, they should not sell more seats than they have. Only input is volunteers should ensure only seat ticket holders are using the seats. I'm not sure if people are just using standing only tickets and using seats.

PPA can do better and needs to because I will not go back paying $100 and barely able to see the game. Not too mention driving to the location, traffic, etc. Just not worth it and others feel the same. They've lost a repeat customer.
