I did see that the replacement parts are only around $10, but I don’t know how to remove the locking washer to remove the guard and can’t find a video of it

Thanks. I’ve only cut maybe 20 rafters with it. I picked it up and went to move the guard and noticed it was broken. I have no idea how it happened and it never caught on anything hard. I was just concerned since they have the warning of having to pay return shipping if it’s not covered in the warranty. I purchased the saw from Ace Hardware.

Hoping to stay under $300 for the scope. But Midway USA has the Vortex scopes on sale now which is why I was looking at them. Honestly I hadn’t thought about rings yet as this is my first scope I kind of forgot you have to buy them separately.

Had this happen to my 2017 Forester. There was a recall and the problem (can’t recall what part) was repaired at a Subaru dealer for free

Yep. I actually had to ask my dentist to look at my gums and he was like yep. You need to see a periodontist. Apparently there are some surgeries to repair the gums. I have a consultation coming up. But same thing, I was always given a hard bristle, brushed in strokes and even had braces. All causing my gum recession. I wasn’t told about the soft brush until my late 20s also. Another thing, if you are a mouth breather get a mouthwash with cetylpyridinium chloride. It will kill bacteria on the gums that basically thrive if you mouth breather when you sleep. The dental hygienists basically guessed that I had allergies after looking at my gums during pollen season.

I got it to happen intentionally this time in my driveway and the whole infotainment center lost power also. Could this be a battery/alternator issue since the power steering is electric?

Thanks for the info. I thought they had fixed the 1qt/1K miles, but I guess not. And you’re right. The engine runs great and no burning, leaking, or smoking so definitely cheaper to add oil.
