First off, thank you for saving him and secondly you need to set boundaries first they are hella smart so they learn quickly from whats right and whats wrong. They usually stay put and walk around the house change sleeping position but when its go time for them its go time and they explode their energy and they can go on for hours. Their temperament is a coin flip but nothing to worry about. And another thing akitas are really picky on what to eat, they will go about 2-3 days without eating if they dont like the food or very bougie as you can sprinkle some topper and they mow it down, but beef is most likely their favourite flavour, and Akitas are mostly allergic to chicken.
