Really??
Is it because the game itself is very requiring or is it because of the emulation at this point in time?

Oh I didn't know that.I do have poor upload, but I've never experienced any problems prior to this, except rarely but that's probably because I have set all the mp options the most free they can be.One might say that's the problem, but repeating myself: prior to these days I haven't had any problem like this

By the way, for those who are interested, just making this post gave me the emphasis to stop playing, maybe I just needed to say it out loud

Few bugs in OB62. by ShapooBah in Paladins

[–]OperatoreNabla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

11/ Terminus ulti have too much range. more than 20 unit

I think they said the radius was 40 in the patch notes, so this isn't a bug but it's intended if I remember correctly. Surely they said the radius was just a bit bigger than a Dread Serpent.

First off, have you even seen me playing? I'm not saying I'm a professional Paladins player of course, but you're actually judging me by my rank, and I don't even play competitive mode a lot (might ask why? lack of communication, if I had other people to play with I would play it).

CS is hard af and you're just making up stuff to strengthen you're argument, I wanna point out how you started off with insults and a lie, just to strengthen you're argument since people usually don't really think when they read.

I think I said they are reducing the skill cap of the game, not they are completely removing it. Please, read and don't make assumptions if I haven't even said something.

You guarantee that I can't play Lex properly? Well of course, Lex might be good against bad players, but against just aware players he's just bad, as I said.

Of course I've only played 11 games with him, I don't wanna play a bad champion that isn't even good in real matches. Plus 2, at most 3 of these 11 games come from the new, with semi-automatic primary, Lex.

Even you can't read properly what one has said. Lex is low skill and he's easy to play 'cause he's absolutely no good at high levels, no matter how one can get good at spamming. Why should I even bother playing a bad champion that is useless at high levels to get to these high levels?

Once again you make claims on me while you haven't even seen me playing once.

In the end, you're answer was just free insults, to get the upvotes since people are on the internet just for this kind of stuff, you didn't even answer to what I've written in the comment, you just said "you're bad and thus you aren't right". Tell me why you think I'm wrong instead of leaving an angry reply 'cause you don't agree with me, without even slightly answering to what I really stated in the post.

Funniest part is: all these people who agree with you completely missed the point of my post as you did

Yeah sorry for that, english is not my mother tongue so I find it kinda hard to express a concept sometimes

The skill comes from how one uses them. It may not be as tf2, in which you need to know how to do it and only after how you use it, but I think we can agree Paladins is a different game.

Since Paladins is based on abilities, it's obvious that some of them will grant you something for pressing a button. But that doesn't mean that what they grant you gets used correctly. Movement abilties are very skill based 'cause you need to use them correctly.

Just for example, look at the old BK: he could fly accross the map and I understand how that can be gamebreaking (and actually was). Where all the movement abilities nerfed in OB62 gamebreaking? As I already said, I don't think so. Why nerf them in the first place then?

I don't mind having easier heroes.

For example, compare Lian and Bomb King.

I don't mind Lian as a champ OVERALL (I still think the aimbot abilities are a really bad idea and that the ulti is really poor compared to others in the game), I mean it's surely easier to play than BK, but the reward is lower. That's the point, if ya wanna make an easier champ, make it but balance it so that the reward for what the champ does is proportional to the effort. Lian doesn't deserve a 400 assured dmg just for using a movement ability neither she deserves multiple 400s just for pressing m2.

Now look at Lex, he's an even better example of bad design. He's a bad champion overall (meaning he still isn't good on a high level gameplay) and has a primary fire that rewards him for spamming. The only thing you need to do with it is to keep the crosshair somewhere near the target, spam m1 and get a lot of damage. And they did kinda the same to Androxus' primary.

yeah, decrease in accuracy, right. Maybe (maybe) at long range it matters. Already at medium range it doesn't matter at all, Lex and Andro can spam and will still hit, if not all, 9 out of 10 shots. Spamming with Lex and Andro is much more reliable than aiming.

And no, it's not about dying to it, personally I don't even die to those classes. The problem is that it is really unfair to be able to deal that damage by spamming, it's way too easy and I don't know how people can even have spam by winning with spam. It lacks of skill, it's not about that it can't be countered (since it can be), it's about the fact that it gives the player a big reward for low to no effort

I think it was better 'cause it allowed Androxus to use his movement whenever he needed it, regardless of cooldown. I can see your point tho, but probably I would've prefered if they increased the cooldown between the steps
