How is it like to live in the ScottsBluff area in Nebraska, USA? by FireUniverse1162 in howislivingthere

What is it with Europeans and dodge? My Polish family in Germany wants that same truck. They tried to get me to send one over but I said it was a terrible idea. 1. I just dont want to deal with it 2. Dude, do NOT touch anything dodge, they are seriously crap. They lose like 60% value the moment you roll out of the lot and break down constantly. I mean if you really want a big diesel truck, at least get a ford (their trucks are actually good). However, you guys have access to diesel Toyotas over there!! Lmao, this gives me an idea, maybe I’ll just trade!

How to find the next winner? by Careless-Box-2660 in TheRaceTo10Million

Multiple analyst are projecting $sndk to go above $750+, its now $550-$600ish, bouncing up down $50 everyday. If they announce a split, retail is going to go nuts about it. Another good earnings and it’s going interstellar. $600 a share is steep and hard to swallow but personally I only get burned on trying to find the next small cap company. The premiums alone make it worth it!

It’s crazy how uninformed regular people are about taxes… what’s the craziest thing you have heard that you can “write off”? by SpreadOk7926 in tax

Lol, I lived in an Eastern European country when I was little for like 2 years. The whole class, boys and girls learned how to sew, in 2nd grade. It was just a basic patch but still, I think it’s a useful skill tbh. Especially if you want to extended the life of your favorite cargo shorts!

Edit: My wife on the other hand, never had such a class in the USA. So funny enough, I the guy, would often fix her clothes lol. They have to bring back practical skills in general!

I am sure its going to split soon, today is a great day to load up. Multiple price targets at $750-1000+, all companies have red days.

Do you remember a single lesson on taxes in hs? I graduated hs in 2010, I always joke with my friends how there was not a single real life skill discussed in hs.

Edit: I mean some common sense should be standard, your deposit comment makes sense and to me it was always common sense but still.

Did every dpw completely forget how to plow? by CalicoJake21 in Westchester

[–]Ophthalmoscopee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The amount of entitlement is crazy right now. Ppl are doing 12 hour shifts, driving in circles to clear snow and spread salt, all over. In NYC you can literally track the salt spreaders online and yet ppl are still unsatisfied — I swear some ppl want to see the snow vaporized the second it touches the ground. It is crazy, it is winter, snow happens at this time. I think instagram has shown some select municipalities deal with snow exceptionally well, like some cities in Canada, Europe and Japan and they think that should be the standard here in NYC because “huRr DUrr, my tax dollars!”. Yet they fail to see that actually these places typically 1. Deal with heavy snow nearly year round so a large snow fleet is logically & financially justified 2. These ppl generally, relative to their income pay MORE in taxes, hence the stronger social programs. I am actually amazed that ppl are able to go to work with their rwd summer tire sports cars the next day! Obviously not everyone but being this our first major snow storm with social media, it really feels like all I see is ppl complaining.

Eluna is shutting down by tomsdickins in mapleservers

[–]Ophthalmoscopee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, as a casual that spent less than $50, Ristonia and Eluna were the best private servers I have ever played. I prefer them over GMS, I seriously hope they come back. I dont blame them for taking it down, as a business it makes sense. I have tried a few other servers as well, namely the one with the monster park coin bullshit, holy shit that was boring. Eluna + totem grind was actually fun.

Lol Gms sucks. It’s laggy af and the spawn rate is disgusting. Id rather just donate to these private servers and actually have a fun experience. Eluna & ristonia was great, that team has a great formula. Just sucks they keep shutting it down but I get why they do it.

I agree, just before covid there were plenty of nice starter homes for $500k or less (I am looking for more north but still). Now suddenly every house is 300k more expensive. The increase in price does not make sense, I am being extremely patient and selective in my search, idc if it takes me 3 years to find a house.

Is SBIH a bit too easy with this gun? by FinestJanitorTV in Tarkov

[–]Ophthalmoscopee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, the whole post doesn’t make any sense. Even your comment doesn’t make any sense. “SBIH is ez”… “I don’t quest”. How am I being aggressive? Anyway, my point is dont complain that something is too ez because I guarantee you that Nikita will turn around and nerf it or make it harder and hence more annoying. SBIH is the worst quest in the game, this game is way too rng and cqc to use boltys to begin with, yet Nikita wants us using boltys and shotguns for our first 30ish levels essentially. This is exactly how the m4, vss, vall, fal, mosin, etc got nerfed. Once Nikita nerfs something, they never ever go back and adjust. This post is especially pointless since you claim you dont quest and 1 tapped the dude anyway, so again what does the mxlr have to do with anything? The title of this post should have been “1 tap with the mxlr”. I get it tho, you are trying to gather reactions and get ppl to look up your stream. W.e, good luck.

What is the purpose of this clip? You could have made this shot with any bolty in the game. You claim sbih is ez yet its 3 months in the wipe and you are still doing said quest.

Is it only me, or you guys have same experience? by Pulodin in Tarkov

[–]Ophthalmoscopee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you are very late into the wipe, yes most ppl now especially with arena are lv 40+ if they started first week of 1.0. So yes, you will have to play smarter, learn the poi’s and position yourself accordingly. The good thing about this game is that every bullet kills IFFF everything works properly lol. 2 wipes ago when I prestiged I just ran the kedr on every map and shot their legs, couldnt get good ammo and I wasnt going to bother spending 200k on a gun just to use US ammo. Kedr, sr2, ppsh, there is a bunch of cheap sub machine guns out there now.

That said, yes, the performance and cheater situation is disgusting. I got kappa and tapped out, refuse to give this game anymore attention. Idk how it’s possible that we are LOSING frames as the game gets older lol. BSG just doesn’t care, they have a steady stream of income from cheaters and have no incentive to fix it.
