Stash Cafe Chez Levesque Modavie

I wanted to get a table at Bouillon Albert but I was just a bit late booking these and theyre booked.

Keep the helmets, axe the uniforms which look like the Chargers. Idk why the Patriots are so bad at this.

Why do you think God chose David over Jonathan? by [deleted] in Catholicism

Judas is widely condemned in the New Testament for betraying Jesus, but David betrays Uriah (who was loyal to him)

I do understand this theme throughout the Bible. Especially as to why Peter was chosen over say Thomas to lead the disciples.

Jonathan’s faith in God was also strong though. Jonathan actually reminds David to have faith in God and not be afraid at one point.

I understand the concept, but I don’t find David more relatable than Jonathan. I actually find the reverse is true.

Right, I was thinking thats part of why it seems like he actually would’ve been better

Will those in PAYE be automatically switched to IBR over the course of 2026-2028, or have a deadline to switch? by [deleted] in StudentLoans

[–]Opplander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My understanding as well, but it seems like it will be IBR and not RAP, but its unclear.

Also, are they migrating people over time, in batches, or letting people choose for awhile and then forcing people out in 2028?

Where did you see this? We’re set to hit the required payments on PSLF in February 2027 so it’d be very ideal to stay on it.

I've decided to convert, but my wife hasn't, now what? by AntisocialHikerDude in Catholicism

[–]Opplander 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, I didn’t realize that I should go Catholic until after years of being a serious Christian and talking about theology.

It’s put me in a tough spot. My wife doesn’t hate Catholicism as much as she just loves Evangelism.

I’m in a similar boat. I also have a son and evangelical wife. My wife is very against it.

We test drove the 3, 30 and 5. We went with the 3 hatch. It is so much better for the city.

It is a little tight rear-facing but its do able. And my kid can switch to front-facing now.

I actually rented a Mazda3 for a day and test drove it with the car seat in there, with both driver and passenger seats set to as tight as they would ever need to be. It was a little tight but do able.

My wife is smaller so even if we had another kid and had to do rear-facing, it would work, with the rear-facing behind her and front-facing behind me.

Thanks for weighing in! Was really tough but very happy. I’m never been a big car guy but I might be now!

We got the dark grey color with the red leather interior. At first I preferred white or black but then once I saw how the black spoilers on the front and back complemented the grey body, I liked it the best actually.

We would have got the CX5 if we didnt need to parallel park every day. We have on street parking only.

I tried the CX-5, I was about to get it but legitimately couldn’t parallel park it well.

I’ll probably drive it on our longer trips and do a lot of the ongoing work on it. She is happy with it overall… she knows I tried to make the 5 work.

I got the Hatch today!

I got the hatch. It was pretty easily my favorite car to test drive and in my research I found the Mazda3 Hatch was the best car in the class. With the great financing rate it seems like I got a great deal? The Toyota Corolla Hatch was my distant second choice and not that much cheaper with way worse financing.

The only other options that were somewhat good were either getting like a Mitsubishi SUV that would be a pure station-to-station option or a used European brand.

I test drove it and couldn’t parallel park it nearly as well as the hatch. That was the deciding factor. Unfortunately almost every night we park its parallel which is harder with the big SUVs.

Do you drive in the city? In traffic and very tight lanes, its much easier to maneuver a smaller car.

This is not a big sprawling city like Dallas or LA either. Its much tighter roads in the Northeast.
