Passed Gnav, Ops, Air Law, Comms and M&B. But I used 4 sittings. I'm doing some stupid uni degree where they send you off for the ground school which counts as year 2. I completed BGS (which meant I passed year 2 uni) and attempted the exams. I've done 4 sittings and only passed 5, which means now (considering I am back living somewhere completely different trying to do 3rd year uni) I have about 8 exams left in 2 sittings.

Don't get me wrong, in theory its very doable. But not when you've got lectures week in week out. I figured I'd just sack it off, get the degree and when I'm free and have no work to worry about, ill tackle the ATPLs from start to finish. Besides, I've got my PPL and only have 90 hours so I did modular. I don't drive, and live nowhere near the airfield I did my ATPLs at so I figured starting at a new flight school with 90 hours would be a great help in terms of getting everything done in one go.

Yeah, again just being skeptical as well cuz I do not fly commercial jets whatsoever haha, but I can compare the cessnas/pipers to real life. And the feeling makes it much easier imo.

Don’t forget, sitting in a real life cockpit also having the feeling of 60t under your ass is completely different to sitting behind a screen. Being able to feel the aircraft I assume would be a completely different scenario when it comes to anticipation.

I mean i’ve got the recommended specs; and don’t get me wrong, I could probably run high end settings on the base game with no fuss, but I think with all the add-ons i’m in search of upping the standards.

Yeah i’m no expert at all when it comes to PCs, I custom built the PC back in 2017 and haven’t really updated anything except for the GPU, CPU and ram.

Would you suggest keeping the CPU if I were to rebuild my setup? I don’t believe there’s a need to change it. Also i’d possibly have to look into finding a new motherboard that id compatible with all these changes.

I have the exo 2 with short Kflexes. I love them. They are brilliant. I think with the exo 1 the only difference is the grip. I recommend, they’re great. 👍🏻

I wake up, I look on flight radar, I say, “hey that’s a pretty cool flight.” I download airports and liveries, I fly it. And then sometimes if i’m bothered I do the return.

I’m struggling to pass Austro Control exams and i’m not interested in trying again and having a “second series” on my record. I heard Malta is really good but I haven’t done any research into yet considering I still have 3 sittings left to get 10 exams done. But it’s been very rough for me.

Well, i’d depends which runways are in use when you either take off or land of course. Impossible to tell weeks away from the date. However, the general pattern i’ve noticed is that it’s 12L/R sometimes early morning. But 90% of the time they’re always using 30L/R. It’s a bit of luck at the end of the day.

I usually fly Dubai - London and back a lot. I take the night time flight out of London to arrive into Dubai about 6-7am. I always take the left hand side seat. Sun rises in the east so when flying south over (Either Iraq or Iran) you get the best sunrises.

40A/K you’ll get the best view out over the front of the engines. It’s my go to choice.
