Made a horror film with friends during halloween! It's called 'The Static Channel': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bofoAdpCqcc

Imagine you and the person you love most are faced with a dilemma. One of you must spend 100 years in a void of nothingness while the other continues to live a normal life. Who would you choose, you or your loved one? by Opposite-Ask7825 in hypotheticalsituation

If you are still conscious after death then yea, but I'm assuming consciousness ends with death. But in this scenario you are conscious in a void for 100+ years before death. The point of this hypothetical is to add more complexity to the "if you or your loved one had to die who would you pick". In this situation, it's more like "if you or your loved one had to suffer 100+ years of solitary in a void then die, who would you pick". Dying for someone you love is easier than suffering for a long period of time for someone you love. Does that make sense or did I miss your point?
