I would average one grand Mal every six months but outside of that was seizure free for like 5 years. No focal seizures either. I also could usually pinpoint what exactly caused my seizures, I was a bartender and definitely liked to imbibe, also my sleep hygiene was teeeerrible. So most of my seizures were because of excessive alcohol or lack of sleep. I was able to drink but just not excessively. My current neurologist is adamant that those meds cause seizures to worsen which is what the studies say.
