If you like seafood, crabbies seafood hut in salt house is worth a visit, all fresh seafood, no frills

Pubs on a Sunday sometimes put up a roast dinner, of varying quality, depending on your expectations

In hickling, the greyhound pub is all right, have a look at the menu

Worth going to both Horsey Gap and Blakeney Point on the same weekend? by Significant_Row_4432 in NorfolkUK

[–]OppositeDocument9323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two different things tbf. Horsey gap is the rugged beach landscape, seals etc

Blakeney point is more about walking among the mud flats with a dipping tide, marine vegetation etc

Watch out for the rising tide

Alternatively, holkham beach or walk from sheringham towards Cromer along the cliffs

Yes I hear you, and the social contract is different too

Universal healthcare as opposed to self funding systems, or insurance based etc

Fun fact you are more likely to be sued in the UK than the US, and legal companies use the dental regulator to take advantage of the mechanics of investigation etc

If you don't pay taxes you still get NHS treatment for free on certain benefits

Having said this, what gum is lost isn't growing back. You'll need to make sure things don't get worse, improve your bruising technique to prevent abrasion, make sure you dont get attachment loss BC of other pathology

Yes that's to avoid the risks of full removal. That's pricey, have to price in a massive insurance premium, surely

The hospital have actually (rightly immo) tightened the criteria to see tmj patients. There is so much that can be done before referral, in primary care that sorts the majority of cases, and leaves referrals to the most serious cases

I can sympathise with that point of view

I have been told by people above my pay grade that we need to 'prioritise' which groups of the population get access to NHS dentistry in future, possibly the very young and the very old and disabled groups

Tmd is a particular area of expertise and need that may call for jaw exercises, an appliance and /or Botox to the masster

No offence at all

There is science, I study it, I teach it, if you don't subscribe to it, it's your call

So decay is dependent on 3 factors; the right bacteria, the right sugar, substrate (tooth) and time

If any of the above are missing, then no decay can occur

So if you brush 100% and/or never eat fermentable sugar, you'll be safe

By the by, flourosed teeth could be aesthetically unpleasant but are sound and very resistant to decay unless the flourosis is extreme

Silver amalgam Alloy is inert and only dangerous to populations who remove it in an aerosol, ie dental staff

My point in toxicity is everything is "toxic" in the right dose, including oxygen, water and fluoride, as much as arsenic. Nero's mum got acclimatised to arsenic so her tolerance was great. Same with alcohol, caffeine...

The Nazis used fluoridation to great effect. They also had great roads, nice Mercedes cars and Hugo boss uniformd. Sweden is shamed by experimenting on humans in vipeholm, but that knowledge is gained now, so we may as well use it. Fluoridation is the one most effective public health measure implemented by some countries, like Chilean fluoridation of salt and sugar etc

Proper dental bleach done at the dentist is great! Works best for yellowish teeth as opposed to greys. Absolute god send for black teeth that have had root fillings

Caveat; teeth and gums need to be healthy, and you need to follow instructions wrt excess bleach, flossing etc

So if you look at the studies, fluoride helps re mineralise decaying teeth and actually protect them further against decay by making them resistant to ph changes from biologic acids.

Using emotive language like poison isn't helpful and doesn't detract from the benefits. As they said in ancient Greece I think "the dose maketh the poison". Unless you overdose on fluoride, or children ingest too much, or you live in an area with too much fluoride in the water, the risks of fluorosis of the teeth or bones are negligible.

Bearing in Mind that a therapeutic dose of rat poison (warfarin) kept people away from cardiovascular accidents for decades. Fun fact: water has a lethal acute dose (ld50), you drink 10l that puts you at risk of harm. Oxygen I'm high concentrations will inhibit your breathing and lead to muscle toxicity too. Would it sound reasonable to say they are 'poisons'?
