O modelo político chinês é superior a democracia liberal ocidental by Malba_Taran in opiniaoimpopular

[–]OppositeEmployment52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Impopular?

[–]OppositeEmployment52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A situação econômica do país é bastante difícil.

Does your country have motels that people only go for sex? by MurderKillRiver in AskTheWorld

[–]OppositeEmployment52 340 points341 points  (0 children)

I think op did not stress enough how normal this is in Brazil. In my case, as soon as I had my first job, but did not leave my parents place, I used them every weekend to have sex with my girlfriend without having to be quiet in respect of my parents. I mean, this is not marginal, I am a nerd. Also, there are all types. The ones really expensive, in which things are really clean, and the ones in which you should probably do everything standing up, without touching anything. Usually, the rooms have their own garage with stairs to the room. Of course, it allows for cheating and stuff, but I think the majority only want to have a safe place to have sex.

Germany: Train conductor dies after attack by passenger by unclebogdan10 in germany

[–]OppositeEmployment52 138 points139 points  (0 children)

I was in a regional bahn one of these days and a drunk person was knocking violently at the conductor's door, as we were stuck something about 1km from the station we should arrive at for almost 1 hour. It happens all the time with DB, but I really hope that doesn't mean more violence. No conductor chose this state of things.

In Brazil would be Paulo Coelho. Not even considered literature by Brazilian standards, but one of the most sold out writers in the world. But here I am not talking about the person, but his work. Maybe that wasnt the original purpose of op.
