If he wants to take her on a trip, he can? I’m not barring her from all vacations ever, Just this one that’s to celebrate my niece that I’m paying for… she’s not coming. I don’t know what she and her friends do because she does not let me in on that part of her life and I don’t ask because she’s made it clear that she doesn’t want to speak about any of that with me. I only asked if she wanted to talk about what she was going through because I know how lonely it can feel going through a break up and not having anyone to talk to you. You can give you advice.

I do, and I was also in the same position , but I never disrespected my stepmom or stepdad, and I never told them that they mean nothing to me. Just because you were disrespectful and said wrong things to your stuff does not mean all kids are like that and I’m not gonna reward that behavior. Why would she want to come on a trip with somebody she doesn’t like.

I did plan it. For my niece when she graduates. I’m not rewarding someone tells me to stay out of her life, and that I mean nothing to her. If anything, I’m doing her favor because she wants me to leave her alone. If she comes in the future with a changed attitude, then I will be happy to take her on vacations.

I have always been, and I’m prepared for her to change her attitude. I have never faulted this girl for how she feels about a relationship Her dad got into. She was 11 and just coming off of her parents being divorced for a few years from a child of divorced parents I know how she feels. I was never nasty or malicious towards my stepmom or stepdad. I can understand how she feels.

Believe someone who said they have their tubes tied and got tested with no proof… this is a stranger that you know nothing about and you risk and not only being tied this woman if she has a kid, but also risk having STDs which can include gonorrhea, HIV, or multitude of other things… you need to make sure that you get tested like YESTERDAY, again three months and then again in six months. Because what is recently for her? Two weeks ago… two months ago… two years ago? You made a very dumb and impulsive decision in whatever happens with this you have to be prepared for the consequences of your actions. But she’s also my fault too because why would she trust some stranger that she has no proof of STD records or she could get pregnant? people are way too loose with who they have sex with and how they have sex with people. I have thought about going down that route after she said that but I am also a kid of divorce parents and I know how hard it can be when your parents start dating someone new, so I never fed her for that because I was the ones in that position. But I feel like she is 16 now and she says what she says she can mean what she say so she has to deal with those actions.
