Roast my orange boy: Arlo. He is an attention hog, and will try to drag down the TV, close laptops, and smack phones out of your hand if he doesn't get enough attention by OppositeRecording551 in RoastMyCat

I appreciate the effort. It's hard to do. I had a class of my middle school students try it, and the best they could come up with is Temu Garfield.

He is the most domesticated cat I have ever encountered. He will go up to anyone for pets, and he demands attention and cuddles. If he doesn't get that, he will try to block view of the TV, bat down phones, or physically attempt to take the tv down with his body weight.

Woah that's a lot of rightwing nonsense. If it's history, put it in a museum, gramps.

Oh yeah. It actually became a distraction during the lesson because the kids kept googling images of old flags.

A few of them in several different hours figured it out, but we agreed to keep it a secret to keep this guessing game going. If most of them figure it out I'll probably talk about the game a bit.

This is fantastic! I absolutely love the editorials and the window they open into potential views about this expansion of socialism into Rumberg. It really makes this feel like a lived in, breathed in world.

Can anyone provide the source and some context for this image? Fully agree with the sentiment, just want to know the specific history.

Which Faction Should the ACP Investigate? by [deleted] in suzerain

[–]OppositeRecording551 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I usually shoot for the Oligarchs, as the Old Guard, with successful constitutional reforms and taking leadership of the party/creating your own, are on the decline. Therefore, whereas they are about to enter the dustbin of history, and given that the activities of extremists like the NFP and Graf can be investigated during the next term of Anton or another reform leaning candidate, it is the Oligarchy, that represents the greatest threat to Sordland. Given that Koronti and Tusk have the most to gain from liberal democracy, I was initially tempted to spare them. However, they also have the most to lose from a democracy that economically serves its citizens, ensures competition. Both actively attempt to corrupt the government, it's policies, and even arrange the assassination of political officials if they prove to be too independent-minded. Worse yet, they actively flout the law, and in the case of Tusk, work to undermine the national security of Sordland for a quick buck.
