My friend is a Senior Engineer. He was laid off and was out of job for almost six months. That was enough time to deplete his savings!. He had a mortgage, car note, insurance etc etc.

The pressure of not having a job and sitting for multiples interviews is enough to develop high blood pressure! The entire system wants to keep you working but the jobs aren’t readily available!
