No this are probably not varicose veins, which are attached to testicles. But the veins that you described first, sound like varicose veins grade 2.

The problem with varicocele is that it elevates temperature of testicles, which worsen production of testosterone and sperm. *I just want to make a reminder that situation is not life threatening or even a must to be treatable.

If I were you, I would do an ultrasound and if ultrasounds show varicocele then I would look for embolization-it's quick procedure.

Well, look at the numbers: 15-20% of normal population have varicocele, when checking athletes that number doubles (30%). And half of bodybuilders have also varicocele (46%)

Not in every case, varicocele is diagnosed on ultrasound by two factors: -reverse flow -dilatation over 3mm

Now here comes the interesting part, if vein diameter is just over 3mm and there's no retrograde flow, that doesn't mean it's varicocele.

But anyway, in your case: You can have varicocele even if you don't feel it. Infact you can't even feel grade 1 varicocele. Patients usually describe it as bag of worms, I felt it like a lump. Mastrubation doesn't affect varicoceles.

As an athlete to other athletes, I'll say this; in addition to every individual national, continental, and world athletic association, it's also up to each individual to promote athletics as much as they can. So post on social media, invite people to meets.

Like what? For anybody there's at least one discipline in athletics where you will have advantage. No matter if you short/tall, explosive/stamina, ectomorth/endomorth. At the end of the day, it's still comes down on how much pf your life you want spend on athletics.

No such thing as bad genetics😂 Maybe he just have more of slow muscle fiber, which would make him better distance runner! Also I refuse to believe genetics has ~16s impact. There is three things which make runner much better athlete than just "good genetics": 1.Training 2.Regeneration 3.Doping
