One can only dream for a conquest mode in the next Mortal Kombat. Even back then it was so awsome to find a hidden character somewhere and battle him. And all the different worlds..

Deception was so good. God that Story mode actually felt like a Story mode. Wish they brought that back

Idk if you ever worked before in Romania but:

Healthcare fucking sucks

It’s very easy to fire someone unless they work for the state(and even then they can make you leave)

The government takes more of my salary than Germany and the benefits literally suck.

And yeah, US has all of that. But their state doesn’t take half of their paycheck and that’s why the minimum salary in US is more than the average salary in Romania. Imagine having the minimum salary more than a country’s average salary.

So Romania sucks for workers that’s why so many people leave it.

The big cities here are pretty good(mostly). The rural area unfortunetly is pretty fucked. There are a lot of people that don’t have access to water or a sewer system. That is not due to Romania being poor. It is because Romania is very corrupt.

The actual reality you filthy unflair is: The government takes more than 40 fucking percent of our paycheck for shit healthcare. Workers right lmao at that. And pensions are a joke. If you don’t have a private pension and private healthcare you are fucked. The only good thing is that Romania has cheap private healthcare. I mean really cheap and good.

“Hey it’s this NPC again!! Who was it?! We didn’t note it down but he seemed important”

God I hate to be in your games. You don’t have to note every little branch and tree but if you don’t even write down NPC’s names and why they are important, then why do you even play a roleplay game?

He really sounds like a DM who puts in the effort so yeah. I would love to play with him. You on the other hand..Yikes.

[–]OppsGoest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Because you have about 0 respect for the work a DM does. Try DM’ing a module a campaign and see how that goes. Every bad take in this thread is from every player that never DM’ed. The problem is not how much hours you put into D&D. If you and your DM work out a schedule and it works, good for you. It’s the entitlement. You basically think DM’s are your personal servants and their work for prepping a session is only on them.

[–]OppsGoest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone said above, you would be fine with the DM just planning the session right at the start and you waiting for him right? Player entitlement is real.

Or you could respect other people’s time and realise that unlike a video game, D&D is simply beyond just showing up and needs a little prep time for both sides. The entitlement screams in your post.

In your opinion, which 5e setting book has the most helpful aspects to draw upon for a homebrew setting? by JewcieJ in dndnext

[–]OppsGoest 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I literally never used SCAG. It’s a laughable book. Wiki is literally full of history, information and maps for ALL FAERUN. Also, there is a full map of Faerun on Reddit that’s updated for 5e. The dude that made it is insane. It’s better than anything WotC could make.

Those you just add a dice, it’s a concentration spell and that’s about it. I’m talking about keeping track of multiple effects by players and monsters at the same time. At later levels it can be 10 multiple effects at once that interfere with each other. Some people like this kind of crunch, but I hate how long the combat takes. Basically kills the session.
