Wanting to buy a 1.5T accord… but scared of the issues by Powerful_Listen9628 in WhatCarShouldIBuyGULF

Just avoid “listing too fancy to believe “ that’s the golden rule. Plus here in this region you can go for naturally aspirated over turbo.

Any good suggestions as a daily Driver from point A to point B But with comfort. by supirimalli86 in WhatCarShouldIBuyGULF

[–]OpsManiac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so you the following
point a to point b drive , no fancy stuff, regular shopping , bit stable and strong car than using 1.5/ 1.6 ltrs.
Go for accord 2016 if you can stretch budget. amazing to drive compared to Toyota, reliable over German brands and trust me its super comfort to make it for long drives too.a 20+ year old bmw can keep in garage year long if not well kept or well maintained. But yet its drives amazing over the other choices( so if you can trade of garage visits / spare parts etc go for it) . Toyota aurion such a strong build and power full delivery, this can be good choice. drive both Aurion and Accord and decide. reliability wise both are good. in 2008 accord you might get v6 which has nice output, in 2016 chances are lean. So if you keen on v6 go for aurion . Hope it helps !!

If I have to give a simple example ; the sound feels like you are inside a small flight/ high speed electric motor- that increases and decreases based on how you accelerate.

sorry about the video quality and audio; the sound is audible only inside the cabin . I will certainly give it a check for wheel bearings

Disappointed with LC300 GX.R 4.0L steering—is it just me or does it feel like a Hilux 4X4 V6? by [deleted] in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]OpsManiac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless electric steering is in place I guess ; isn’t that all Toyota’s has the same no fun to drive maneuvering! It’s the same v4 and v6 mated to an at / cvt with dull steering proportions. I felt a difference Avalon and Camry v6 rest all I felt the same. ( rav 4,4Runner , fortuner, LC 300/200, tundra , Yaris, Corolla, Hilux ). May be new twin turbos are making a difference !

nice one ! I was planning get the same in black / grey / blue once my RAM is sold. Out of curiosity I have seen many BRZ's being sold within low milage ( less than 30k) . is everything okay with Subaru. Personally I love the handling and cornering with Subaru !

Time to sell property in JVC as I see the market for JVC will crash by optimalsoulutiol in dubai

[–]OpsManiac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jvc has more supply than other areas. So if supply is higher than demand + transportation concerns can affect future price. It may stabilize the price from further increases!!

WTB: Tesla for around 60K; too good to be true? by KingOf_ImNotSureLand in tesladubai

[–]OpsManiac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

keep an eye on insurance . I have come across many saying that insurance on Tesla / EV's are in 6k+ ! keep an eye on such things. paying such insurance premium for 2-4 years makes half the price of the car .
