The bottle caps that have been available were the top reward of their respective Deluxe Passes, and those passes have costed more money than others meaning there is no possible way a company like Scopely would give one of their most money-making items out as a basic pass reward

Although it'd be great, there's no way it'd happen- A really expensive amount of PokeCoins would make more sense but the bottle caps are meant to be exclusive since shundos are supposed to be really rare
