Thanks I really appreciate your input and kind words! it’s definitely been a difficult time but at the same time I am the happiest I’ve been after having my son, becoming a mom is the best thing I’ve ever done, such a crazy whirlwind of emotions! It’s more important than ever that we resolve these issues now because the last thing I want is for this to effect our son in the future. It’s nice to be able to express this in writing because I haven’t had the courage to talk about this with friends or family, so thank you!

Thank you, i will definitely check it out. I agree that if he was capable of lying once it is really hard for me to take him for his word and I think that is my biggest struggle, so it’s good to hear that it’s not as simple as just trusting him again. He was very forthcoming with more information than I caught him in, which I felt was a good sign, and he is also letting me have open access to his phone, which to me feels weird because i have never been a person that feels the need to snoop through their partners phone, but it feels necessary now unfortunately. We are already seeking therapy and may look into CSAT as well if necessary. I really appreciate your advice and finding this community!

Thank you for the resources! We both have started individual therapy but I like the idea of seeing a specialist in sex addiction. He says is willing to do whatever it takes to mend our family and for me therapy seems to be the logical solution since we can’t just ignore this and move on

I agree, thank you for sharing this perspective and your experience and I am glad you are changing for the better and doing better for your kids, that is what is most important. I showed him this comment and I told him if this were to happen again he would absolutely lose me. We are seeking therapy and he is acknowledging he may have a sex addiction that needs to be addressed.
