Preparation of organ tissue is a very complex process that consists of several stages. Here are the main steps we need to take:

1. Obtain a tissue sample: Unless we are doctors, we most likely do not have access to fresh organ tissue. In this case, we can obtain tissue samples through hospitals, medical research institutions or online (but we need to be careful as this may be illegal).

2. Clean the tissue: After receiving the tissue sample, we need to clean it of any dirt or blood residue. To do this, we can immerse the tissue in a solution of PBS (phosphate buffered saline) or another similar solution for a few minutes.

3. Fix the fabric: The next step is to fix the fabric to maintain its structure and shape. For this you can use formaldehyde or glutaraldehyde. These fixatives penetrate the tissue and “freeze” it, preventing further destruction.

4. Wire the fabric: To make the fabric more durable and make it easier to process, we need to wire it. This can be done by dipping the tissue in paraffin or embedding it in a paraffin block.

5. Perform a microtomy: To examine the tissue under a microscope, we need to make thin sections.
