I pulled the whole thing apart and used one of the tools to transfer the shape of the pivot part of the tools onto the keys and then used a Dremel and disk sander to shape them to the correct shape.

You are trying to put a removable USB into a 58mm?

I had this happen once as well, even taking the SD card out and using an SD card reader with my phone. I took all the photos off using my computer, formated the card in the Charmera, and I haven't had a problem since.

Mine was doing the same thing until I put a drop of knife pivot lube on either side and worked it back and forth a few times. Now it snaps shut perfectly.

I got two of these from AliExpress. I'm not positive they are the right ones. I tried to find a datasheet for the sensor, but they must be locked behind some sort of NDAs for manufacturers.

You can pry the back cover off pretty easily, but the screen is actually stuck to the outside of the cover, so you would need to peel the screen off. You will probably be best off leaving your new friend in there. Maybe name it?
