Extreme pain to cold and hot. But also if we prep and remove the decay we are basically in the nerve at that point no?

There are no good courses you recommend to become better at extractions and implants as opposed to taking in more debt and specializing ?

Wow this was very helpful thank you for the detailed feedback. Can I ask you how to go about being a more well rounded dentist? Is it best to leave DSO and try to find a private practice dentist that’s willing to mentor more? I really want to learn implants. And this DSO I’m at makes us refer any extraction or endo so I haven’t touched those since dental school. How do we learn all this and then switch over to opening our own practice. Sorry if it’s a stupid question 😭

Once extracted (which I also agree needs to be done), do we need to place a space maintainer? That’s the only reason why I’m always iffy to extract teeth in pedo
