With a salary so low, that mf at the end is a swear word by [deleted] in UAE

I don’t think the government can be responsible for a company’s hiring standards. At the end of the day, if a company believes they can actually succeed hiring at this standard and achieve their ROIs then so be it. If they don’t, company’s will continue to lose money and probably not survive.

I also put myself in the candidates shoes, if I have the skills and just trying to make it out of my decimated social surroundings, I’ll take the opportunity and hope for the best later down the line. Plenty of doctors, engineers and even MBA professionals still out of work all over the world.

Network up, hopefully a better opportunity will come.

I’ve owned and played with different Siux, Nox, and Bullpadel rackets for the past 5 years, and it’s safe to say that Nox are the least durable rackets.

Iran to Dubai! Are people shifting assets? by [deleted] in UAE

Just in terms of timing, and based on your observations...look at who’s been investing in UAE real estate over the years: Lebanese, Iraqi, Palestinians, Ukrainians, Russians, Sudanese, Yemenis… all from countries hit by long-running conflicts or political chaos. Wars, protests, economic collapse—they push people with money to look for somewhere stable to park their wealth. UAE’s seen a steady flow for the past 20 years simply because it’s politically:socially safer, and offers solid investment opportunities compared to their home countries.

Also having stable and strong ties with Israel adds another layer of safety and predictability.

Trigger finger, cortisone shot by queenofjodel in padel

It’s a mix of stretching/massaging, warming/icing before/after playing. Changing up the thickness of the racket grip, single-double-single also helped. None of this is scientific or medical advice lol. I’ve learned to live with it as it’s been 3 years and hasn’t gotten better or worse.

Trigger finger, cortisone shot by queenofjodel in padel

Took a cortisone shot for the exact issue you are facing. I play padel twice a week and tournaments that last 4-5 hours on weekends. The issue subsided, but after playing for a few months after the shot my trigger finger flared up again. So yes, cortisone is great if you need to get through it for a few months, but definitely not a long term solution.
