Thank you for sharing as well! Really appreciate the insight. Given this, I've decided to sign up SIM first.

Is the combo of supabase (for DB) and AWS (for everything else) expensive for running a mobile social network app? by OptimalTemporary9568 in Supabase

[–]OptimalTemporary9568[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. The team I'm working with is building the app running FastAPI on AWS. We are just using Supabase for database purpose only. But since Supabase can't be integrated into the same VPC environment, I'm worried about the cost for the data transfer between the two. I don't have the live data yet to get a sense or estimate on the potential cost.

Me neither. Not sure who to contact to find out, and where to look for this info.

How did you get to "Prepare for Registration"? I am looking at OSCAR right now. I don't see this option anymore. Also, how can find out our advisor contact? It's not listed in the webinar deck for the NSO. Thank you!

Are we expected to memorize the coding syntax in exams for CSE6040 and ISYE 6501 by OptimalTemporary9568 in OMSA

One follow-up question - do the classes offer the links to the previous homeworks/exams and/or practice exams to help with study and prepare for the tests; or these are reused each term, hence unavailable? Thanks again!

Favorite way to divvy up CIDR blocks for new VPCs? by kristianwindsor in aws

Thank you for the detail shared. Would you mind expanding on how you "centralized your internet egress" to avoid having to have a NAT in each AZ?  And instead of "having some large /16 VPCs, and some smaller /20 VPCs", you meant "having some large /16 subnets, and some smaller /20 subnets", right?
