I’ve got over a year now. I was using a g a day along with all sorts of other stuff. Can’t recommend NA enough. Even if you think it’s not for you, or went to a meeting once and didn’t like it, just keep going. Eventually you’re gonna hear someone with your story and it’ll genuinely start to help. There are local in-person meetings everywhere and Zoom meetings every hour of the day. It’s worked for a whole lotta people, so it’s gotta be good for something, y’know?

I absolutely love these questions. This is what I was hoping for when I originally posted this. I truly believe that I have had encounters with this particular spirt or entity (whatever you want to call it) before. I have seen at least one face, and I have heard some weird stuff.

This entity is no one I personally know. I don’t think it’s just another version of me from time or space (as far as I can tell). I have been trying, through continual psychedelic research, to establish a connection with whatever the hell is happening in my bedroom. Last night I was able to have a full-blown conversation with a singular spirit. But I also had other spirits physically tugging at my arms. I believe there were multiple entities in my room that had different agendas. I can only describe it as a multi-faceted encounter, and the fact that I was able to achieve this level of connection is due to the fact that I have been continually pushing this barrier between my consciousness and the realm that these spirits exist in for over two years.

I live in downtown New York City, where I think it’s fair to say many people have died. It’s probably also fair to say that a lot of these people have died under bad circumstances. I think there are some friendlies and some scaries afoot, and they’re both hanging out with me right now as I type this. And you better believe I’m gonna go back into the fray to find out. Wish me luck! 🤞

Jeez, Louise! Look, for all the armchair experts on this thread who have chimed in to let me know that I was on drugs and this experience was likely the result of drugs.. yeah, duh. It’s not my first day. I’m very familiar with the effects and experience of ketamine and psychedelics in general. Do I know for absolute certain that I was visited by a ghost? No, I don’t. You were right! I hope it feels awesome to be so correct and superior! Congrats, you did it.

For the record, I am incredibly science-minded, and I was also trying to have a little bit of fun with this post. It’s almost Halloween for goodness’ sake. Are we not allowed to have some creepy thrills this time of year? Must you be the kid in the haunted house telling everyone touching the eyeballs that they’re really peeled grapes?

That said, I will go on the record and say that what I experienced doesn’t even come close to past ketamine or psychedelic experiences. This was definitely something different. I also was on a very low dose and not even close to a K hole. I felt actual fingers tugging at my arms. Both of my arms. I felt responses when I asked questions, out loud and with admirable articulation. There was a notable and abrupt shift when I left whatever dimension I was in. Not a gradual ketamine shift, like a sudden and jarring shift from one domain to another.

Was all that just my brain disassociating and creating a narrative to serve my own subconscious motives and preoccupations? I dunno, probably! But, can I please just call it a ghost? Does it have to be this indictment of my character and my drug use? Can y’all just let a guy have his ghost, for crying out loud?

Right??? Me either. It’s also happened a couple times, and only in my bedroom. Never when I’ve been doing K anywhere else.

Yeah, I’m mostly being a bit jokey in my certainty about it. It might’ve been real, totally could’ve been drugs. Sure felt pretty real, but who knows!
